1. The service
Digital WatchMan connects to CCTV cameras/DVRs you own or lawfully operate and provides AI-assisted monitoring alerts: event detection (e.g. person detection, camera tampering, feed loss, perimeter breach, face recognition), alerts, live view, and related analytics, per the plan you subscribe to.
2. Accounts
You must be 18+ and provide accurate details. Login is via OTP to your registered mobile number; keep that number secure — actions taken through your session are attributed to you. Business accounts confirm the person accepting these terms is authorised to bind the business.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed in advance (monthly unless stated otherwise) via our payment partner. Prices are in ₹ (INR), exclusive of applicable taxes. Feature availability follows your active entitlements. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellations and refunds.
4. Acceptable use
- Connect only cameras you own or are authorised to monitor.
- Comply with all laws applicable to CCTV operation, notice/signage, and biometric/face recognition in your jurisdiction.
- No unlawful surveillance, harassment, or monitoring of private spaces you have no right to monitor.
- No attempts to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
5. Your data
Your footage, alerts, and face libraries remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Important: what Digital WatchMan is — and is not
Digital WatchMan is a monitoring aid. Detection is probabilistic and depends on camera quality, placement, lighting, network, and third-party equipment we do not control. We do not warrant that every event will be detected or every alert will be timely, and the service is not a substitute for emergency services, security personnel, or insurance. The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss arising from undetected incidents, theft, or property damage.
8. Term and termination
You may cancel any time (effective per the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may terminate for breach or non-payment. On closure, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy’s retention terms; you may request export of your alert history and face labels beforehand.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are notified to account holders and apply from your next billing cycle.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
